CatalogIQ is a brand of Apex Grid Engineering PLLC. Contact: info@catalogiqhq.com. These plain-language pilot terms are summarised here; the subscription agreement a pilot merchant signs is the binding document.
CatalogIQ drafts product listings from data the merchant supplies, normalises that data to store formats, and delivers or publishes listings only after the merchant approves them.
CatalogIQ does not invent product attributes. Factual content in a listing comes from the merchant's supplied data; anything missing is flagged, not filled in. The merchant reviews and approves every listing and remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of all product claims in their store — including regulated claims (health, safety, food, children's products, electrical or chemical), which require the merchant's explicit attestation before publication.
CatalogIQ sells listing production. It does not guarantee search ranking, traffic, conversion, or sales.
Starter $99/mo (up to 500 active SKUs), Growth $199/mo (up to 2,500), Scale $399/mo (up to 10,000). ShopTranslate add-on: +$79/mo per language per store. Catalog Studio engagements are scoped in writing before work begins. Pilot pricing is test pricing and may be revised for new terms with notice; a merchant's current paid term is honoured as sold.
CatalogIQ's core service pays nobody out. If a future partner or seller-side arrangement ever involves CatalogIQ paying a recipient, the recipient chooses from the options offered at that time — bank payout via Stripe Connect, PayPal Payouts, or Plaid-linked direct ACH where implemented — with any limits (including PayPal's house processing cap) disclosed before the recipient earns.
CatalogIQ sells work, not a satisfaction guarantee. Refunds remedy our failure — and they are real when the failure is ours.
When refunds may be available. A refund may be available when CatalogIQ is responsible for: (a) non-delivery — a paid-for deliverable or service was not provided; (b) material defect — a substantial failure to meet the agreed specifications, including an incorrect product fact introduced by CatalogIQ, that materially affects usability; or (c) a missed promised deadline — a delivery date expressly confirmed in writing was missed for reasons attributable to CatalogIQ. Style preferences, changes in business strategy, poor sales performance, and buyer's remorse do not qualify.
Correction comes first. Report a problem to info@catalogiqhq.com identifying the order and the issue. We acknowledge a documented request within 2 business days and provide an assessment or correction plan within 5 business days. For a confirmed defect within our control we first correct or re-perform within a written cure period suited to the scope. If correction fails or cannot reasonably be completed, we offer a service credit or a refund for the affected portion. Nothing here delays or limits refunds required by applicable law or payment-network rules.
Work performed is earned. Fees are earned as services are performed. An eligible refund is limited to the undelivered or uncured defective portion, allocated by documented work units (SKUs processed), agreed milestone pricing, or another reasonable allocation disclosed in the order. Completed, conforming work remains billable even if you choose not to use it.
Subscriptions and cancellation. Starter ($99/mo), Growth ($199/mo), Scale ($399/mo), and ShopTranslate ($79/mo per language per store) renew monthly until canceled. Cancel through the channel in your order confirmation; cancellation is timestamped, takes effect at the end of the current paid period, stops all future charges, and is confirmed electronically — canceling never requires a purchase or a sales call. The current paid period is not prorated or refunded merely because you cancel or stop using the service, and disclosed, authorized setup work already performed is nonrefundable. Billing errors, non-delivery, and uncured material failures remain eligible for remedy as described above.
Delivered, approved, and consumed work. Work is consumed when actually used: deliverables downloaded and used in your operations; listings you approved and then published or deployed; translations you published or deployed. Consumed, conforming work is not refundable because you changed plans, platforms, or suppliers. Consumption does not waive a valid claim for a material defect caused by CatalogIQ — our errors remain ours after publication. Previewing or downloading a file without using it is not, by itself, consumption.
Your data, your approvals. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the product information you supply and for reviewing drafts before approval. CatalogIQ never invents missing product facts; gaps are flagged for you, and faithfully reproduced errors from your source data are not CatalogIQ defects. Errors we introduce are ours to cure. Approving content and authorizing publication are separate acts, and nothing is published without your publication authorization.
Catalog Studio engagements. Scoped engagements (from $999) run under a written scope with deliverables, milestone pricing, acceptance criteria, and dates. Completed work and authorized milestones remain payable; any refundable balance comes from the unused, undelivered portion.
Payment disputes and chargebacks. Contact us first — most issues resolve faster directly. Filing a chargeback pauses the disputed work while the dispute is reviewed and is answered with the delivery evidence pack. Filing a chargeback does not waive any lawful cardholder rights. Future service is declined only for documented fraud, deliberate payment abuse, or repeated unsupported disputes.
Free sample pack. The 25-SKU sample pack is free. Requesting or receiving it never starts a subscription, authorizes recurring billing, or requires a paid conversion.
Refund processing. Approved monetary refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval (your institution may add posting time). Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
A merchant may cancel at the end of a paid period. CatalogIQ stops imports and publishing, the merchant exports their full catalog and change log, and house copies are deleted as described in the Privacy page.
